At Ohio Women's Alliance, we are closing out 2021 with a sense of gratitude for our community of supporters and champions like you. When we launched in 2019, we had no idea the incredible impact our reproductive justice collective work would have or what we would build together.
Ohio Women's Alliance represents healing, life-saving, life-giving, and necessary commitment to reproductive justice. While much has changed in the past couple of years, our commitment to gender and racial equity has not. And our work must continue.
We believe in the reproductive justice framework as a human right towards self-determination and access to choice on when to have children, when not to have children, and how to parent children in safe and sustainable communities. We believe in providing essential needs and relief to build collective power and stamina for long, brutal fights.
In 2021 we expanded our holistic communal care through resource drives servicing hundreds of families in Ohio with items like school supplies, coats, diapers, and warm meals. We reached thousands fighting for abortion access and a more inclusive democracy through our issue-based education and advocacy campaigns. And we re-granted over $215,000 to womxn & womxn of color-led organizations to expand their capacity to complete their urgent bodies of work and build a stronger alliance of womxn leaders across Ohio.

Tomorrow the Supreme Court will hear arguments for Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, which could effectively overturn Roe v. Wade, putting abortion access at risk all over the country but especially in Ohio. It's at this critical moment that we are asking for your continued support.
Can you commit to giving $21 for our 2021 Giving Tuesday campaign? We'll use those dollars to defend, protect, and expand reproductive justice and abortion access in Ohio. Join us as we fight back for all facets of reproductive justice, including abortion access, healthy viable communities, and collective liberation.
